Three generations of Tipperary family mark summer solstice at summit of Galtymore

The Cahills enjoy a summer solstice sandwich on the summit of Galtymore.

Three generations of a Tipperary family marked the summer solstice in a fitting manner.

The Cahills from Clogheen climbed to the summit of famed Galtymore to mark midsummer’s evening.

It was a fantastic experience for Richard (72) from Listowel; Brian (46) and Aaron (11).

They enjoyed a fantastic sunset and a sandwich on the top of Tipp on the longest day.

It was an epic climb and achievement for both young and old.
