M8 soutbound closed following multi vehicle collision
The M8 southbound is closed between J9 Cashel South and J11 Cahir North as emergency services deal with a multi-vehicle collision near J10 Cahir North.
Traffic is slow now on the M8 from J8 Fethard to exit at J9 onto the Old N8 as a result. This has added to delays around Cashel Town - especially coming in on the Thurles Rd (R660) and out on the Cahir Rd (R639).
It is heavy leaving Thurles, especially on the Borrisoleigh Rd (R498), Holycross Rd (R660) and the Slievenamon Rd (part of the N62).
North of there, the N62 has a 5km northbound queue at Templemore.
