Jacqueline Ryan (Hollyford) and Aisling Slattery (Dundrum) are travelling to Uganda as teachihng volunteers.
They thank everyone who supported them in their fundraising efforts in aid of Nurture Africa. They would especially like to thank Jim and Mary Ryan of Ryan Rue's Pub, Hollyford, where they held a benefit night on 30th June, Maura Quinlan, Upperchurch, who was fundamental in helping them organise their fundraising 45 Drive as well as everyone who sponsored spot prizes or donated to their cause.
They are travelling as teaching volunteers to Uganda with the Irish Organisation Nurture Africa to work with the children and wider community of the area,
