Warm and dry weather forecast for Tipperary
The outlook for Tipperary over the coming days and into next week is mainly for warm weather with occasional light showers.
It will be dry this morning with some hazy sunshine in the east of Munster. Rain will develop in the west during the morning and will slowly spread eastwards in the afternoon and evening. In the west temperatures will reach 18 to 20 degrees at best today, but elsewhere it will become warm with highs of 20 to 23 degrees. Breezy at first with moderate to fresh southeast winds.
Rain will continue for a time tonight in eastern parts while the west of Munster will become mainly dry. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.
A dry start tomorrow, however rain will develop again in the west during the day. Highest temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees in mostly moderate breezes.
NATIONAL OUTLOOK
Outbreaks of rain continuing on Friday night, with potentially a few heavy falls. Minimum temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
Saturday: Fresh and breezy with sunny spells and scattered showers, merging into longer spells of rain in the north. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees. Drier on Saturday night with minimum temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees.
Sunday: Rain for a time in the morning, becoming drier in the afternoon with sunshine and a few showers. Warm with maximum temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees and possibly quite blustery.
Early next week: Fresher again with scattered outbreaks of rain. The rain is expected to be most prevalent in the north and west, while the east and south are likely to stay mainly dry. Temperatures will be close to or above the seasonal average.
