Cllr Roger Kennedy requested at this month's Tipperary Cashel Municipal District Meeting that the authority “contact Bus Éireann and the Department of Transport with a view to securing a badly needed Bus Shelter in Abbey Street, Tipperary town.”
Management responded: “The current location is considered to be unsuitable for a bus shelter. With members' agreement, the Municipal District will relocate the bus stop to the bus bays on the Link Road and then seek to have a shelter provided at this location.”
