Book of condolence set up by Tipp county council for fallen Irish soldier in Lebanon

The Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council Cllr. Roger Kennedy will open a Book of Condolence at 12 noon. on Tuesday 20th December, 2022 at the Civic Offices, Clonmel, for Private Seán Rooney, who passed away tragically while in duty for the Irish Defence Forces in the Lebanon recently.

Similar Books of Condolence will also be available at the Council’s Civic Offices in Nenagh and at its Municipal District Offices in Thurles, Tipperary and Carrick-on-Suir. The Books of Condolence will remain open for one week.

There is also an online condolence book that will be collated with the physical books from the offices and forwarded to the family, once closed, at the followin link.
