Snowflakes in Cahir - Tipperary Transition Years students know all about them!

Snowflakes in Cahir - Tipperary Transition Years students know all about them!

Coláiste Dún Iascaigh was a hive of activity for our 2022 Christmas Market Day last Friday.

Well done to all our students involved for a fantastic effort. Some of last year’s Wood Technology students received a Distinction in their exams. Well done to all.

Transition Years had great fun singing and dancing last week at Cahir Day Care Centre and Bramleigh Lodge Nursing Home and Inspired by our cold weather, 1B in Coláiste Dun Iascaigh learned about the Science of Snowflakes. They then designed some snowflakes based on topics they study in Junior Science – ecology, chemistry and space. Hopefully it helped everyone get into the festive spirit!

The First Year Technology students were delighted to get their Electronics project finished and at the Coláiste Dun Iascaigh staff wellbeing after school last Thursday some beautiful Yule logs were baked in time for Christmas!

Coláiste would also like to say a big thank you to Karen from K2Z School of Motoring who gave an informative and important presentation to Coláiste Dun Iascaigh Transition Years on road safety last week.
