Request for second lane of traffic on busy Clonmel road

District Engineer Roger Noonan says if the width allowed, appropriate linage would be laid down to formally establish two lanes

Two lanes of traffic should be provided for traffic at Ard Gaoithe Hill, Clonmel, on the approach road to the Cashel Road roundabout, District Mayor Pat English has stated.

In his reply to Cllr English's request at a meeting of Clonmel Borough District, District Engineer Roger Noonan said that the line width on the road would be assessed.

If the width allowed, appropriate linage would be laid down to formally establish two lanes.
