Tipperary school's Christmas Jumper Day raises almost €1,000 for Creeslough

Well done to our student council for organising a Christmas Jumper Day in aid of the Creeslough families and community.

Here is a letter our student council sent.

To whom it concerns,

When news broke about the terrible tragedy in Creeslough, Co Donegal, the students of our school were shocked, the same as many others across the country.

One of the main tasks for the Student Council in our school is to raise money for worthy causes, and we agreed unanimously, as the Student council, that helping the families of Creeslough should be that worthy cause.

When we had our first Student Council Meeting, we decided to organise a Christmas jumper competition on December 8, right across the school, for all students and staff.

We asked students to bring in €2 to enter. We succeeded in raising €954.00. To this end, we would like to donate this money to your worthy cause.
