Tipperary player helps Limerick Celtics to victory in Under 18 Men’s Basketball National Cup final

Congratulations to Oliver Barry, Bouladuff, Thurles, who was part of the winning team Limerick Celtics in the Under 18 Men’s Basketball National Cup Final at the National Basketball Arena in Dublin.

They defeated Templeogue 79-53. 

“I thought the lads were really fired up before the game. I thought our defence was excellent,” said Celtics coach Tony Hehir.

“We did a great job of containing Templeogue throughout the game. They have some excellent players that we did an excellent job of containing them from scoring". 

He added: “We were nervous at the start and then we got into the game and every player made a huge contribution".
