Clogheen Drama Group to stage 'I do not like thee Dr Fell'

Members of Clogheen Drama Group some of whom will partake in the upcoming production of “I Do Not Like Thee Dr Fell”.

Clogheen Drama Group
This year's play is by Bernard Farrell who wrote this wonderful play called “I Do Not Like Thee Dr Fell”. Rehearsing is on going and the play will be on stage on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, March 23, 24 and 25.
Tickets will be for sale over the next couple of weeks. We would like to congratulate our near neighbours in Duhill for putting on an outstanding play recently. Well done to all.

Clogheen's Social Dancing
Our first dance of the year will take place on Saturday, March 4 in St Paul’s Community Hall. Doors open at 8pm. Dancing to the brilliant Declan Angier. Admission €10, plus free raffle and light refreshments served.

Vee Rovers FC
Shanbally United Division 2 Youths Cup final was postponed last Saturday and now takes place next Saturday at Scart against Cashel Town.
Come along and support this promising young side in their quest for silverware.
The Juniors were at home to Clonmel Town on Sunday in a league fixture. Rovers fortunes have not improved recently in the Premier League after a draw at Cashel and a defeat to the Wilderness Rovers.
The tie against Clonmel Town on Sunday was a big ask. We didn’t do ourselves any favours with the concession of two early goals of our own making and it was 4-0 by the interval.
The second half showed a far more spirited effort by the home side where the workrate and tempo was raised but the town side ran out easy winners on a 5-0 scoreline.

Fr Sheehy’s GAA Club
If anybody would like to help out as a steward in FBD Semple Stadium there is a training course on April 1.
For details email pro. frsheehys.tipperary@gaa.ie or contact any committee member.
Well done to Eoin Ryan who is representing South Tipperary u14 footballers at events recently in MTU Cork and Dr Morris Park.
The juvenile fixtures have been published with the u13 footballers starting on February 26 and the u15’s on March 17.
Keep an eye on our social media for fixture confirmations.

Fr Sheehy’s GAA Club Lotto
The numbers drawn in our most recent lotto draw were 2, 24, 25, 27.
We didn’t have an outright jackpot winner but we did have two ‘Match 3’ winners (€75 each), Liz O’Neill Clogheen and Jimmy McHugh Clogheen.
Next week's jackpot will be €8,050 in Ryan’s Bar Burncourt.
Thanks for your continued support.
