Grandparents’ Day was celebrated in Kilcommon National School last Friday, February 24.
Local priest Fr Woods celebrated Mass in the church and everyone returned to the school hall for refreshments, provided by the Parents’ Council.
Grandparents and parents were then given a tour around the school by the children and the morning concluded with some songs in the school hall sung by the children.
Kilcommon National School was delighted to be able to host Grandparents’ Day in the school once again and everyone in attendance had a fantastic time.
