Our Captains Drive kindly sponsored by Tom Ryan "The Valley Inn" Murroe took place last Sunday and there was a great turnout of members to support our Captain Tom Holton, Lady Captain Stella Fahy and Junior Captain Caitlin Shippam.
The winners of the scramble were Thomas Ryan, Dan McInerney, Raymond Flynn and Hazel Thompson.
Club Singles
This weekend March 10th, 11th and 12th we have our first Club Singles of the year. Conditions of play are: Play off White markers, lift clean and place within 6 inches on fairways, lift clean and drop within 6 inches in rough and bunkers are in play.
Entry is €8. Winner will receive €80 voucher for Pro Shop, 2nd will receive €25 voucher and best gross €25 voucher for Pro Shop.
Two new competitions
Members are reminded that our two new competitions start next weekend as well, The Men's Eclectic, kindly sponsored by PJ Holmes Spar Murroe and The Twos Club kindly sponsored by Shane O'Keeffe Pallas Bar & Bistro.
These two competitions will run for the full golfing year. (Playing rules available at Pro Shop)
Spring League
We have now completed 4 of the 6 qualifying rounds of our Spring League. Teams can check their scores on spreadsheet posted in Men's locker room.
