Two Tipperary hurlers have made the cut as they were selected on the Fitzgibbon Cup Team of the Year which was announced earlier today.
University of Limerick duo Gearoid O'Connor and Bryan O'Mara were selected at centre forward and centre back respectively after helping the Limerick college to back to back titles last month, with O'Mara captaining the side for the second year in a row.
It is deserved recognition for the two Tipperary senior panelists after a stellar season in the third level competition and they will be hoping to continue their good form for Tipperary in the rest of the intercounty campaign. See full team below.
