South Tipperary Parish Fundraiser: Music, song and craic this Saturday night

The Ballylooby/Castlegrace under 13 footballers who put in a great performanace against Fethard last weekend, full of heart and workrate.

Ballylooby/Castlegrace Development Lotto
Result 14/3/23. Numbers drawn were 8, 13, 19 and 24. No jackpot winner and no ‘Match 3’s.
Four lucky dips winners were: Marian O’Mahony, Anne-Marie Fitzgerald, Denis Heffernan and Rebecca Burke.
Next week’s jackpot €3,800.

Duhill Community Centre Daffodil Day
Thanks to all who attended the annual Tea/coffee morning on St Patrick’s Day in aid of South Tipp Hospice & Daffodil Day.

The Heritage Group’s annual general meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 28 in Ballyporeen Reagan Centre.

U13D Football Championship Result: Ballylooby/Castlegrace 2-6 Fethard 4-6.
This was a super Saturday morning of football served up by our young bunch. While the result didn’t go their way, the effort and workrate was fantastic, and that’s what the coaches, asked from the lads so they can all be very proud of how well they done. Well done to all.
South U15B Football Championship Result: Carrick Swans: 5-6 Knockmealdown Gaels: 2-5.
County Hurling League Div 5 Result: Ballylooby/ Castlegrace: 1-16 Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickams: 1-13

Congrats Ben & CBS
Hugh congratulations to Ben Carey and CBS Mitchelstown on winning the Senior Schools All Ireland Hurling Final last weekend. Fantastic achievement by all involved and brilliant to have such a number of Knockmealdown Gaels players involved in the success.

Clogheen Dramatic Society
Best of luck to our neighbours, Clogheen Drama Group who will perform Bernard Farrell’s play “I do not like thee Dr. Fell” directed by Trish Hickey.
The play will be staged this week from Thursday 23 to Saturday 25.
