The Thurles Farmer's Market are looking forward to your support on Saturday March 25th – a team will bring some daffodils by kind permission of the owners for Daffodil Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
The event follows the official Daffodil Day around the country on March 24th.
There was great support for the Coffee Truck service at the Greyhound Stadium continues so please remember this option if you are in the area – Drive Thru or Walk in – with some super tasty treats available seven days a week starting at 8am. Café Chris Tea makes another great neighbour.
The market operates every Saturday morning between 9am and 12.30pm at the Greyhound Stadium Thurles.
On March 25th The Nutty Knitters be at the market - The Nutty Knitters offer a wide range of knitted items from hats to cardigans and custom orders are most welcome. They also offer hand poured candles and a range of jewellery accessories.
Bookings are now being taken for a Spring Craft Market on April 1st – traders spaces can be indoors or outdoors – please contact 087 270 1689 if you wish to book a space.
Plenty of free car parking space available for customers at the stadium.
At the Farmers Market you can purchase a wide range of produce – Clonismullen Butter is now back in stock.
Fruit, vegetables, honey, apple juice, jams, eggs, hen or duck, beef, pork, chicken, lamb, puddings, goujons and sausages.
Baked goods – breads, scones, tarts, cakes, buns, quiches, soup and cakes to order are also available. Pasteurised milk and condiments also available.
TJ can meet any needs you have for fuel – kindling to firewood and deliveries can be arranged – call 087 985 5745.
