One of the Maths Pi teams from St. Anne’s Secondary School, Tipperary: Avril Rea, Meabh O'Brien, Roisin Carew, Rebecca Crosse.
Congratulations to the winning team from Scoil Pól, Kilfinnane, which consisted of Tara Leahy, Grace Weaver, Aidan Hanley and Paul Healy, who came first in the regional round of the Junior Certificate Maths Pi Quiz, which was held in Scoil Pól on Tuesday, March 14.
Teams from St. Anne’s School, Tipperary and the Abbey School, Tipperary, took part along with teams from CBS Charleville and St. Mary’s Charleville.
Maths Pi teams from St. Anne’s Secondary School, Tipperary, comprised:
Avril Rea, Meabh O'Brien, Roisin Carew, Rebecca Crosse.
Isabella Phelan, Lily Maher, Eliza Gleeson, Siobhan Heffernan.
Molly Crowe, Caoilinn Grogan, Sophia O’Grady, Jessie Nugent.
Orla O’Donnell, Aine Kinane, Kate Ryan, Emma Donnelly.
The winning team will now represent Scoil Pól in the All-Ireland which will be held in Portlaoise on Saturday, April 22.
