Carrick-on-Suir pharmacist Dr Sabine Eggers will give a talk about the menopause at Carrick-on-Suir Library on Monday, April 24 at 11am.
The 45–60 minute talk will cover the stages of menopause, hormonal changes, the effects of oestrogen on the female body, common symptoms and self help.
It will also deal with helpful food supplements, herbal remedies and prescription medication.
The talk will finish with a question and answer session.
