Nou Camp visit second years
On Friday, March 31, we did a walking tour visiting the historical sites of the city followed by a cycling tour along the Seafront where we once again saw some of the beautiful buildings of Barcelona.
Our tour guide gave us the history behind the buildings. We also cycled around the Olympic Village which was built before the Barcelona Olympics of
1992.
On Saturday, we travelled to the Roman Amphitheatre in Taragonna, from there we went to Montserrat where we enjoyed the cable car ride to the top of the mountain. We visited the monastery of Montserrat and the very ornate Basilica. This was followed by some shopping in Barcelona city.
To finish our day we took a boat trip around Barcelona port. We returned safely from Barcelona in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A very busy few days, Sunday was spent in a theme park, and Monday included The Nou Camp stadium and museum visit followed by a photo stop at Sagrada Familia, shopping in Barcelona City and a visit to Parc Guell. A great time was had by all.
