Comahtas stalwarts were recognised for their contribution

The County Tipperary County Fleadh was held in Ballycommon and it is safe to say a wonderful time was had by all. 

Labhrás Ó Murchú Ardstiúrthóir of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann officially opened the Fleadh on Friday Night where he also presented 5 Gradams to a worthy list of recipients, Gradam Séirbhíse to Albert Purcell, Jim Ryan, Joan Byrne & the Gradam na hÉigse to Ann Crowe and Anne Gleeson from Caiseal Mumhan CCÉ.

Competitions were held over Saturday and Sunday with some mighty sessions before, during and after, it was great to see such community spirit. The County Board would again like to Thank all the Sponsors, Businesses, Volunteers, The Gardaí, Nenagh Irish Red Cross and especially our hosts Baile uí Chomín CCÉ & The Thatch bar & restaurant who all went out of their way to give everyone a Céad Míle Fáilte to the mighty village of Ballycommon in 2023!'
