Taking part in the County Fleadh in Ballycommon
Nenagh municipal district councillors have praised the local Ballycommon Comhaltas group for organising the County Fleadh in the village at the start of the month.
Cllr Ger Darcy proposed a vote of congratulations to the organising committee.
“It was a fantastic event,” said Cllr John Carroll. “The talent was unbelievable and great credit must go to Ned Kelly, who also ran an In Tune for Life concert as part of the event.”
Cllr Seamus Morris said that there had been a great buzz around the village.
He praised all the volunteers who came out to help and the volunteerism that went in to driving it along
