Munster are in South Africa today where they take on DHL Stormers in the final of the United Rugby Championship.
Graham Rowntree's men are looking to win their first piece of silverware since 2011 when they travel to the home of the reigning champions. The overcame arch-rivals Leinster in the penultimate stage when Jack Crowley was the hero with his drop-goal which set the ball in motion for today's grand final.
Munster had previously tasted success in the competition when they won in 2003, 2009 and 2011. The province have been defeated in their last three final appearances, 2015, 2017 and 2021 but Munster will be full of hope today as they were the first team to beat Stormers in their home venue since the Emirates Lions won December 2021.
Conor Murray, Malakai Fekitoa and Calvin Nash all start today's game. Craig Casey, Ben Healy, Keith Earls are on the bench while Jack Crowley, whose late drop goal clinched a place in the Grand Final, moves to fly-half.
Stormers beat Connacht in the semi-finals of the competition and they now will look to beat the brave and the faithful who have travelled in huge numbers in terms of support to South Africa for today's game.
Stormers are the hot favourites for the game but Munster travel in confidence with huge numbers gone over from Tipperary in support of their team. Kick off in the DHL Stadium in Cape Town is at 5.30pm with the game being shown live on both TG4 and Premier Sports 1.
