Open Day at new Tipperary primary school - everyone was truly amazed

Last Saturday the new Primary School in Cahir Bunscoil Na Cathrach held an Open Day where everyone was invited to come along to check it out. There was a steady stream of visitors with past pupils and teachers, families and people who were just interested to see what the place looks like inside!

Everyone was truly amazed at the state of the art facility. With its high ceilings, huge windows, cheery colour scheme, enormous GE hall, toilet facilities in every classroom, generous room proportions, green energy rating heating system along with soundproofing, many commented on how wonderful it is to see what great facilities the pupils have to make learning a much more enjoyable experience than in their day!

With Principal Brendan Horan on site to conduct tours as well as many of the other teachers on hand to answer any questions there were some great conversations and much reminiscing on the day.

Refreshments were also served in the GE Hall and a great visit was had by all.
