Roscrea Community Choir relaxed with a singalong at their final term practice on Tuesday, May 23,with refreshments provided by the choir members.
William Cullagh who stepped in as M.D. last March, led the singing. The after-practice cuppa and treats were great for a sociable catch-up and relaxation. Many thanks to Irene Hastings, who organised the refreshments and to all who helped and brought food. We sincerely thank all choir members this 2022/2023 year and hope to see as many as possible back to us in September.
The committee are working hard to ensure that the choir continues and that the members have fun singing together in harmony, both in practice and in performance. Many thanks to William, with whom the choir has enjoyed working this term, and we wish him a restful and well earned Summer break.
He has endeared himself to the choir in a very short time ,with engaging and lively rehearsals. We wish Lucy McCarthy, our mentor and great friend, well and hope she has time to rest and recuperate over the Summer. Best wishes to choir members who have been unable to join us this term due to personal illness or illness in their family.
We pray that you will all get better soon. Enjoy the Summer break everyone, and we hope to see you all well and enjoying the singing and companionship of the choir in September.
