Boherlahan Dualla Camogie Club represented Tipperary with pride at the  John West Féile na nGael national finals at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence at Bekan, County Mayo last weekend.

The Mid Tipperary side topped their group winning all three group games against Lucan Sarsfields, Duffry Rovers and Newtownshandrum.

The good form ensured they qualified for the Semi Final against Turloughmore of Galway and a close encounter against the westerners went right down to the wire.

The Tipperary side were 2 points up in the dying seconds of the game when Turloughmore somehow managed to score a goal to win by a point. It was fantastic for the Galway girls but heartbreaking for the blue and gold crew.

Despite the heartache the Tipperary girls did their county proud and had a fantastic time. Overall eighty club sides took part in the national finals across seven venues in Connacht.

Sponsored for the eighth time by John West, it is one of the biggest underage sporting events on the continent. A hundred teams took part in John West Féile na nGael regional finals taking place at 13 venues across Ireland for teams outside the top division on the same day.

Well done to the Boherlahan Dualla side on representing their county so well.
