The festival at Tipperary gets underway today
Three days of top class racing begins today as the Tipperary Racing Festival begins.
Big crowds are expected in and around the Limerick Junction venue from lunch time onwards and the area will be busy across the week with a strong field for the festival with quality jumps racing.
Tipperary Racecourse's Fitzgerald's Woodlands House Hotel & Spa Ladies Day is taking place on, Thursday, the third day of the Racing Festival.
A seven race-card will get underway today at 2.05pm with a strong field.
The big one today is at 2.35pm which is the Tipperary Town Plate Handicap Steeplechase, whilst the Packie Downey Memorial Rated Novice Steeplechase goes to post at 4.35pm.
