The Island
The beautiful picturesque island at the Bridge in Golden is a lovely place for a walk and a picnic for local and visitors alike over the summer.
Tables are provided for this on both sides of the island. making it an ideal spot to take a walk or just to relax and sit along the river bank.
Do take note that bins are provided for all rubbish and when you avail of the facilities please clean up after yourself and dispose of refuse in bins or take home with you.
We appeal to everyone to make an effort to keep our village tidy!!
