The Wolfe Tones band
With just three weeks to go, the licence has been granted for The Wolfe Tones’ biggest headline outdoor event this summer at the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick this August 26th as organisers announce that the event has sold out.
Many from across Tipperary and beyond are expected to go to the major gig as Ireland's biggest folk group perform this month. A full bar service and multiple food concessions will be in place at the Gaelic Grounds all day for this over 18s event with seating and standing available in the ground.
Noel Nagle, Tommy Byrne and Brian Warfield today comprise arguably the world’s most popular Irish folk group, The Wolfe Tones.
Presently celebrating an unbelievable 58 illustrious years on the road, their longevity and success is unparalleled, their status as iconic in the world of Irish music has long since been secured!
They have launched their own whiskey, become a sensation on TikTok amassing over 800k likes, and topped the BBC Best Song in the World poll with ‘A Nation Once Again’, they show no sign of slowing down so the time is right for them to headline their biggest outdoor show!
The Wolfe Tones continue to thrill audiences and pack venues worldwide and will also perform at Electric Picnic next month.
