Munster Rugby gearing up as another pre-season fixture is confirmed

Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming games which will likely feature Tipperary players

Tipperary supporters will be priming themselves to see Munster back in action over the coming weeks as rugby once more takes centre stage in the sporting calendar. Munster’s first pre-season game will draw the crowds as it is against Leinster.

The game is set to take place at Musgrave Park on Friday, September 8. Over 7,000 tickets have been bought for the game already with the fixture in Cork now looking like a sell out. 

Another warm up game has been confirmed for the side too with Graham Rowntree crew taking on Connacht in a match taking place in Galway City on Friday, September 22, at 5.30pm. Tickets for the game can be bought via Connacht Rugby.

The Barbarians will provide the opposition for a novel double-header at Thomond Park which is set to take place on Saturday, September 30 in what will be the first Thomond Park for over six months.

The Munster Women will be kicking off  first against the Barbarians Women that day as the crowds will filter in for a 2pm kickoff with the men’s game set to start at 4.30pm.

The URC season in earnest kicks off against the Sharks at Thomond Park on Saturday, October 21, at 5.15pm.
