Tipperary boxer makes successful debut for Ireland at European Schools Championships

Kaysie Joyce made her international debut a successful one when boxing for Ireland at the European Schools Championships in Maribor, Slovenia.

The Clonmel Boxing Club member defeated Rachele Perna of Italy on a unanimous decision.

Kaysie was very explosive from the first bell, landing some great punches and giving her opponent two standing counts.

The four times Irish champion, from Baron Park, Clonmel, is the daughter of Sarah Jane and Darren Joyce.
