Will Sologhead be celebrating this evening or will their West champions reign be ended by Kickhams?
This evening, Thursday, August 24, in Clonoulty, last year's Junior B Hurling West champions Sologhead will go head to head with Knockavilla/Donaskeigh Kickhams in defence of their title in a winner takes all quarter-final knockout clash.
Having lost out in their opening round game against Cashel and redeemed themselves with a well deserved draw against Cappawhite and followed it up with convincing victories over Galtee Rovers and Arravale Rovers, an injury-free Sologhead will be hoping to maintain the momentum against a side that have been unbeaten in their group round games to date.
In what promises to be a cracking hour’s hurling the action is scheduled to get underway at 7.15pm.
