Postponed Tipperary Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship semi-final will be played on Sunday

Thurles Sarsfields await the winners in the final

Cashel King Cormacs will face Lorrha Dorrha in the FBD Insurance County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship semi-final on this Sunday, October 8, at 2.30pm in Toomevara.

The game was scheduled to be played last weekend but was postponed as a mark of respect following the sad passing of Timmy Moloney, Cashel King Cormacs.

The sides last met in the championship in 2021, when Cashel King Cormacs came out on top in their group 4 meeting.

Cashel will be playing in their first semi-final in the grade following their quarter final victory over Gortnahoe/Glengoole.

Lorrha Dorrha, county intermediate champions in 2022, are looking to reach a first final since 2020.

The winners will meet Thurles Sarsfields in the final. Thurles Sarsfields defeated Killenaule by 2-21 to 3-13 in Boherlahan on Sunday last.
