National Breastfeeding Week is being celebrated in Tipperary University Hospital this week.
The theme for this year is 'Making our communities and workplaces more breastfeeding-friendly'.
The hospital are running competitions with local schools - a colouring competition for Second and Third Class primary schools, and a breastfeeding-related project for Junior cycle and TY students at secondary level.
The Primary school winning entry will receive a One4all voucher and a trip for their class to Áras an Uachtaráin.
The Secondary School winning entry will receive a One4all voucher and a trip for their class to Fethard Horse and Country Museum.
The entries will be exhibited in The Showgrounds Shopping Centre, Clonmel on this Thursday and Friday, October 5 and 6.
