'Gone to the Dogs,! It's been a great year for one Tipperary GAA Club and more to come!

GO GORTNAHOE/GLENGOOLE! Gortnahoe Glengoole GAA Senior, Juvenile and Camogie Clubs are holding a dog night this Saturday evening, November 4 at the Thurles Greyhound Stadium.

Dog Night

It's been a great year for the Gortnahoe/Glengoole club on the hurling and camogie fields at inter-county level and they have an important fundraiser this weekend.

Gortnahoe Glengoole GAA Senior, Juvenile and Camogie Clubs are holding a dog night this Saturday evening, November 4 at the Thurles Greyhound Stadium.

First race is at 7.35pm. Tickets are €10 and there will be a bumper raffle on the night. Please give your support.

Camogie County Champions
Congratulations to Gortnahoe Glengoole Camogie Club who won their County Final last Sunday in The Ragg. This a great result for the camogie club and the results show that much more success will come to club with these pool of players. Congratulations to the players and management.

Split the Pot
Congratulations to last weekend’s winner Ger O'Keeffe, Ballysloe who won €203 in the Split the Pot draw. Envelopes are available at the usual outlets. Split the Pot for the month of November will be in support of The Gortnahoe Christmas lights.

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole Wednesday 10am to 2pm, Gortnahoe Thursday 10am to 1pm

400 Club Draw
Tickets for the new draw are now available from promoters. €50 per ticket for 12 monthly draws. First draw on Monday, November 13.

Tuesday Bridge
Bridge is being played each Tuesday night in Gortnahoe Hall at 7.30pm. If you would like to join or find out more information please contact this number 089 4349106

Glengoole Community Group
Yoga classes starting in Glengoole Hall on Thursday, November 9 from 2-3pm, €20 for 6 weeks, supported by ETB and MFRC. Names to Julie O’Halloran, MFRC, on 087-1008075.

Gortnahoe Bingo
Bingo continues this Saturday evening at the earlier time of 4 pm with doors opening from 3 pm and will continue each Saturday evening at the same time. We would like to thank so many who came from the parish and outside for our special Halloween bingo last Saturday evening which was a huge success.

Eldercare Service
Eldercare services through MFRC Glengoole will include the following: meals on wheels deliveries every Tuesday and Thursday, social group every Wednesday 1-3pm, includes soup, dinner & entertainment, laundry service, senior alert scheme for Gortnahoe Glengoole area, dementia cafe 1st Tuesday of each month 11.30-1pm, social group every Tuesday at 11am in the Old School House, The Commons.
