The Willie Mullins-trained Allaho makes a long-awaited comeback from injury at Clonmel Races this afternoon.
The four-time Grade 1 winner and back-to-back winner of the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham has been off the track since winning the Punchestown Gold Cup in April 2022.
He heads of field of four in the Clonmel Oil Chase at 2.50.
The nine-year-old is the current 5-1 joint-favourite alongside Jonbon for next year's Ryanair Chase, and is 7-1 for the King George at Kempton on St Stephen's Day.
Allaho will be partnered by regular jockey Paul Townend in Clonmel today, when he will be strongly fancied to get the better of Janidil, French Dynamite and Grange Walk.
The Grade 2 Clonmel Oil Chase, which is worth €35,400 to the winner, is the feature of the seven-race card at Clonmel, the first of which goes to post at 12.30, with a big attendance expected at Powerstown Park.
