Get along to see some great action this Sunday in Thurles at Eircode: E41 PC92
Upperchurch Drombane CC play host to the Cyclo-cross National Series this weekend with the latest round taking the riders to the heart of Tipperary. So far there are entries in from 27 different counties across the country.
The Cyclo-cross season is in full swing at the moment and big crowds will greet participants as Upperchurch Drombane CC once again welcome Ireland's best riders to the Premier County.
National champion Dean Harvey will be there following his top class showing in Westport last month and first-year junior Greta Lawless will also make the trek to Tipp.
The Cyclo-cross National Series takes place in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, on Sunday, November 12th. Racing will take place in Technological University of the Shannon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, E41 PC92.
Speaking ahead of the event, Upperchurch Drombane Cycling Club representative said: "Upperchurch Drombane CC will host Round 4 of the National Series. This time it's in a new venue in Thurles on the grounds of TUS college campus racecourse road.
"With the help of dedicated club members and the kind permission of the college we hope to incorporate a fast-paced course with a mixture of tarmac, grass, a technical embankment and a small wooded section. It also has ample parking facilities close to the circuit.
"We look forward to welcoming riders and spectators to Thurles on November 12th."

The schedule is as follows:
9:50am - Under 6s
10:00am - Under 8s
10:15am - Under 10s
10:35am - Under 12s
11:30am - Under 14s, Under 16s, Women
12:55pm - Junior, M50s, M60s, Support race
2:15pm - Senior, M40s
The following categories will be included in the Cyclo-cross National Series:
• Under 14 boys
• Under 14 girls
• Under 16 boys
• Under 16 girls
• Junior
• Women (an additional prize for the first unplaced Junior and master on each round)
• Senior
• M40
• M50
