Carrick-on-Suir Lions Club is kicking off the festive season early with its annual fundraiser for its Christmas Food Appeal at Dove Hill Irish Design Centre this Sunday, November 19 from 2pm to 4pm.
The event will feature a performance from the Suir Valley Choir, complimentary mulled wine and mince pies for visitors.
All donations received on the day will be invested by Carrick Lions Club members in purchasing food for hampers that will be distributed to people and families in need in the Carrick-on-Suir area for Christmas.
