Members of Moneygall FC accept the cheque for €10,000 as part of Circle K’s €100,000 giveaway to grassroots football clubs in the Republic of Ireland
Circle K has announced that Moneygall FC has won €10,000, as part of Circle K’s €100,000 giveaway to grassroots football clubs across the Republic of Ireland.
Moneygall FC club members were given the good news by Ireland men’s national team manager Stephen Kenny, who took time out from preparations ahead of the Netherlands and New Zealand games to congratulate the club.
Thanks to the support of club members and locals who entered on their behalf, Moneygall FC has been awarded €10,000.
The club was randomly selected from hundreds of clubs across Ireland, all of whom are still in with a chance to win.
Moneygall FC Chairman Mark Moroney and committee member Brian Quinlan were presented with their €10,000 cheque at the club’s grounds by Marek Moderski, Store Manager, and Eimear Walsh, Operations Manager at Circle K Express, Barrack Obama Plaza.
