The inaugural running of the Quinnbet three-race handicap series at The Curragh was won by trainer Martin Hassett, who holds a restricted licence and is based in Killenaule.
Martin, who saddled the winner of the first race in the series said: “We are thrilled to have won the series and would like to extend our thanks to Quinnbet.
“It’s a great initiative and we will certainly be targeting the series next year. We have a small family-run operation here and it has given the team a great boost”.
