In attendance at the handover of a cheque from the Ardfinnan/Ballybacon/Grange/Newcastle Gun Club to Ardfinnan Community Centre were Glen O’Halloran (chairman), Brendan Magill (secretary), Pat O’Sullivan (treasurer) and Seamus Butler. A donation of €600 was made to the Ardfinnan Community Centre from money raised in June at the Ardfinnan Fun Day. The ABGN tent showcased all conservation, safety and habitat development that the club is involved in. The raffle on the day for member donated prizes was a great success. Aline O’Sullivan is also pictured with one of her roosters which were a big hit at the Fun Day. The cheque was accepted on behalf of the Ardfinnan Community Centre: Micheal Anglim, Kitty Burke, Maurice McNamara, Nuala O’Mahoney and Margaret Egan.
