Ursuline Secondary School, Thurles
Congratulations to past pupil Amy Jo Hayes, of the Leaving Cert class of 2019, who won The 2023 Ride of the Year Award at the Horse Racing Ireland Awards last week.
This was in recognition of her outstanding performance on Redstone Well in the nine-furlong Nasrullah Handicap at Leopardstown in July.
Everyone at UCT is delighted for her success, which is so well deserved.
Contributed to School Days in the Tipperary Star by the Ursuline Secondary School.
