There was a Tipperary-owned winner on the first day of the Leopardstown Racing Festival on St Stephen's Day.
Kala Conti, which won the Grade 2 Mercedes-Benz South Dublin Juvenile Hurdle, races in the colours of Robcour, which is owned by Clonmel businessman Brian Acheson.
The 7/2 shot is trained by Gordon Elliot and was ridden by Danny Gilligan.
It was the first part of a treble for Elliot, who was also in the winner's enclosure with King of Kings, which won the Thorntons Recycling Maiden Hurdle, and Found A Fifty, which won the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase.
The festival continues this afternoon at the south Dublin track.
