The Strand Theatre in Carrick-on-Suir where the auditions and rehearsals are taking place
Carrick-on-Suir Musical Society is starting the new year with a flurry of activity as rehearsals and auditions for “9 to 5 - The Musical” begin this week.
The Society is inviting its members and people interested in becoming members to join the cast and back stage crew for the comedy musical that features the songs of Dolly Parton.
The first choral singing rehearsal takes place at Carrick-on-Suir’s Strand Theatre this Wednesday, January 3 at 7.30pm. A dance workshop will take place at the same venue this Thursday, January 4 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
People interested in joining the cast are asked to attend these rehearsals at the Strand in order to audition for the show on Sunday, January 7.
Auditions begin with dance/movement from 11am to 12 noon and will be followed by vocal auditions.
Membership fees can be paid at any upcoming rehearsal or at the auditions on January 7.
