Local golfer Seamus Power began his 2024 season with a -2 round on Thursday in Hawaii
Seamus Power back in action!
After an injury affected end to 2023, Seamus is returning to action in Hawaii this week for the opening event of the 2024 PGA Tour, The Sentry.
It is a testament to just how well Seamus had been doing in the early part of last year that he takes his place in this exclusive field as one of the top 50 in the 2023 FedEx Cup standings.
All of us in West Waterford wish Seamus the very best of luck for the week and year ahead and will be watching and supporting all the way!
Seamus began with a 71 on Thursday, which included four birdies and two bogeys and is seven shots off leader Sahith Theegala after round one. Seamus will be hoping for a steady round on Friday to guarantee making the cut for the weekend.
