New Zealand boxer trains with Tipperary club while on holidays in Ireland

Tadhg Docherty from the Napier boxing club in New Zealand trained with Clonmel Boxing Club while on holidays in Clonmel recently.

Writing on Facebook, Clonmel Boxing Club coach Martin Fennessy said that "Tadhg is a very stylish boxer and slotted straight in with all the lads.

"He's a very disciplined and focused young man".

Among the Clonmel boxers he trained with were Sam McGrath and Kuba Radzikowski, who are both preparing for the Waterford/Tipperary County Championships this Sunday, January 21 in Tramore.
