8. Willie Connors
Rating: 8/10
Like Byrne, Connors returns to the squad for this campaign and he certainly did his chances no harm of featuring going forward.
In a dominant midfield performance with Eoghan Connolly, he went through a mountain of work and he is more than willing to do the donkey work for the team in that battle zone in the middle third.
He is a savage hurler to go with that attitude and he played a gorgeous pass oevr the top to Jake Morris for the second goal. He is a welcomed addition back to the squad.
