The 2023/24 North Tipperary GAA Awards ceremony took place in Lorrha GAA complex last Saturday night with all the stars of the club season gone by being honoured for their efforts.

1971 All-Ireland winner and native Lorrha man Liam King was on hand as special guest to give out the awards and mdeals to the players and clubs with a great night taking place for all in attendance.
It was a special night for Lorrha GAA as they picked up their award for Club of the Year after winning the Premier Intermediate North and County titles in 2023, while talisman Patrick Maher also picked up the Premier Intermediate Hurler of the Year Award for his terrific performances in 2023.
Darragh McCarthy of Toomevara continues to reap the benefits of his fine form on the pitch, and along with picking up the U19A Hurler of the Year accolade after leading his club Toomevara to the North title and County Final, he also won the Overall Hurler of the Year award in recongnition of his performances.
Elsewhere, Tipperary senior hurling vice-captain Jake Morris was recognised for his part in winning back-to-back North Senior Hurling titles with his club Nenagh Éire Óg by winning the Senior Hurler of the Year Award, while Moneygall and Tipperary senior hurler Sean Kenneally picked up the Intermediate Hurler of the Year Award.
Other hurling winners included in their grades Joey Kelly (Ballinahinch, Jnr A), Adrian Browne (Knockshegowna, Jnr B), Cathal McGrath (Silvermines, Jnr C), Luke Seacy (Roscrea, U21A), Conor McKelvey (Silvermines, U21B), Luke O'Brien (Silvermines, U19B).
The divisions footballers were also honoured on the night with Padraic O’Meara of Shannon Rovers being named the Junior B and Overall Footballer of the Year.
