David McSavage brings his newest show, If That Makes Sense, to Tipperary

David McSavage

“If that makes sense”- Common phrase when you say something, but you aren’t sure if you explained it well and the other person understood it.

David McSavage is stand-up comedy’s answer to spontaneous human combustion, an explosive and always surprising phenomenon that simply cannot be contained in a box or transposed to TV.

His new show is a unique blend of energy, improvisation, and leaps of imagination that take his audience on a joyride they’ll never forget.

Even David has no idea what might happen when he unleashes his crazy brand of improvised comedy mayhem.

He possesses the rare gift of creating a space where audiences feel like they are kids again, all taking part in a practical joke.

Viciously self-deprecating and employs the trick of using a persona to articulate some of his more risqué and quite frankly unrepeatable material.

McSavage’s low-key but effective stage manner, gently strumming a guitar as he departs on numerous flights of whimsy, works brilliantly.

His laid-back and laconic style provides a nice contrast to the screaming egomaniacs one often encounters at stand-up shows.

McSavage has unexpectedly come out of the cold of perpetually being an outsider and has somehow graduated into Irish comedy’s small elite,” said Eamonn Sweeney, Irish Independent.

Advance tickets for all shows are available online at www.thesourceartscentre.ie - or by phone from the Box office on 0504 90204.
