Applications for Gaeltacht Scholarships are now open to Tipperary GAA members

Applications for the annual Gaeltacht Scholarships for those interested across Tipperary are now open for 2024. Applications are accepted until the 12th of April and a GAA membership number is a necessity to enter. Any person interested in applying should be aware of a number of relevant points. 

Members from clubs across Tipperary can enter and it is open to those in non 'exam classes' from schools across the region however the applicant must be a member of a club in Tipperary. Here are the full details:

1. Application form must be filled out correctly and sent back in a physical copy to the address on the form or scan it and email it to irishculturalofficer.tipperary@gaa.ie
2. Please note the closing date of Friday April 12^th at 12noon. 
3. Club secretaries must sign the form and attach accompanying recommendation letter.
4. Applicants’ membership number must be provided otherwise the form will be returned to the email address on the application.
5. Applications are open to GAA, Camogie and Ladies Football members (relevant membership numbers must be supplied).
6. Please read the application form carefully and note that it is open only to 2nd, TY & 5^th Year Students
7. The responsibility of sourcing Gaeltacht placements is of the responsibility of the applicant.
8. All applicants will be interviewed and if successful the Scholarship will only be paid out on full receipt of payment.
