Trees are a much needed part of a healthy environment and as part of its overall tree planting initiative in Tipperary, ABP Cahir has partnered with Ballylooby National School to plant 20 donated trees in the school’s field.

Shauna O’Dwyer and Aoibhin Coady from ABP Cahir spoke with enthusiastic second- and third-class pupils about the special biodiversity project and ABP's ongoing environmental efforts including tree planting.

The school planting session was met with resounding success as students eagerly participated, actively contributing to planting the trees that included apple and silver birch varieties.

This initiative is part of ABP's commitment to plant 100,000 trees by 2030. Since 2020, ABP has already planted around 45,000 trees, marking significant progress towards their ambitious goal.
